It's completely cleared!

We met Jeff last night at the lot after work since he hasn't seen it since they started clearing it. I brought buckets for the kids to collect things while Jeff and I walked around the lot. Ava collected pine cones and Reid just collected mud. I can tell I better get real good at getting red clay out of children's clothing!

It was fun to see the space and imagine where the house will be located. They have stakes in the ground to mark the house site and gravel where the driveway will be.

We will definitely be removing a bunch of trees to create a big grassy back yard but not sure if we will have the builder do that, or have a private company come in since we have to pay for it either way.

After walking around the lot we took the kids for a run in the neighborhood and then headed home for dinner. It will be great to see some physical structure work done and hopefully that will be soon.
